As we look forward to Q2 and, in particular, the coming weeks, which should provide some absolutely hysterical earnings conference calls, I offer you 10 different shorting ideas.

We just had the worst quarter in history. Instead I suggest nibbling on high quality longs : BRK, MSFT, AMZN, BABA etc. Start with 1/3 or 1/2 positions. Add if/ as we hit lower supports
What with the great depression upon us?If this is the titanic and the ice berg, the first hull is just stating to leak.
 IF this is the titanic/ iceberg and the market takes decades to recover then I would agree you will not make any money long. But that has happened maybe once? Like buffet says Be greedy when others are fearful and fearful when others are greedy. I can see further downside. Maybe we get a 50% correction. im thinking more 40% but the company's I suggest are ones we will need anyhow. Commissions are free at many brokers now. You buy a few shares here and there on your way down as long term investments. Dollar cost average. When theirs blood in the streets BUY! but be thoughtful about it. Remember every business, person, entity works to improve things. They want to the market, their stock, profit to rise. When you go short you're fighting all that.
