What a day for GTx, Inc. (NASDAQ:GTXI)! It had a fantastic run up on Monday, and is one of the better intraday charts I’ve seen in a while. It jumped 3.06, or 99%, to 6.15, on 7.8 million shares traded. That was an explosive move for this stock. Volume was at an all-time high. It's in a parallel rising channel. If it gets a follow-through day on Tuesday, look for it to get up to 7 1/4-1/2. That could be where it pulls back. Beyond that, resistance is at 9 1/2-10. It has 6.3 days to cover .
Swing trade Loxo Oncology, Inc. (NASDAQ:LOXO) reversed on Friday, and came back off the low from 70.00, jumping 4.90, or 6.85, to 76.45, on 478,320 shares traded on Monday, closing near the high for the day. It has a double top at 77 1/2. If it gets through that in the next day, or so, it will go higher.
Stocks on the Short Side….
PCM, Inc. (NASDAQ:PCMI) may have broken its bear flag on Monday, dropping 80 cents, or 4%, to 19.30, on 132,375 shares traded. I’m looking for this to crack hard underneath 18 1/2, and then 14 1/4-1/2. Ultimately, this may be a 9-10-dollar stock.
Veritiv Corporation (NYSE:VRTV) is a Boxer swing short. It opened at 45.50, pulled back to 44.10, and closed back at 45.50, on 90,844 shares traded. It has poor technicals. Four waves down. If it rolls over and makes the fifth wave, it will see 43 first, and then 35.
