Eldorado Resorts, Inc. (NASDAQ:ERI), on two acquisitions on Monday, made a major move of 5.80, or 16%, to 41.50, on 3.85 million shares. That’s the biggest volume since August when it broke out. We might very well see something in the high 40’s, low 50’s going forward.
Legacy Reserves LP (NASDAQ:LGCY), a strong junior oil, is so powerful I put a swing on it on Monday, and it ran up 39 cents, or 7.4%, to 5.65, on 654,623 shares traded. I just don’t think it’s done yet. I think it’s going to run up to 8.00-10.00 eventually. This stock has gone from a dollar to nearly 6.00, more than a five-fold increase. I can see an extension that will let it move higher.
NRG Energy, Inc. (NYSE:NRG), a swing trade of ours, I am highlighting because it moved up on Monday, and is attempting to break out, popping 59 cents, or 2%, to 30.72, on 5 million shares. It was up only a couple percent, but after the three-week flag set-up, and good OBV , I think this stock is headed to 34, and eventually, as high as 38.
Pure Storage, Inc. (NYSE:PSTG), one of my old swing trades, after a couple months of a consolidation pullback, may have popped through the declining topsline on Monday, gaining 70 cents, or 3.73%, to 19.48, on 2.2 million shares . It needs a follow-through. Targets are 20 1/2, 21 1/2, 22 1/2 going forward. These are resistance levels.
