Yesterday, I decided it was time to get serious about re-entering shorts in a sector that has been a favorite of mine this year – energy. Overnight, crude oil seems to have given back some of its “the Saudi Arabia trip was pointless” gains.
To be clear, I’m not short oil, nor have I bothered doing so at any point this year. I’m focused on energy companies. Thus, I am long puts the following equities:
ConocoPhillips (NYSE:COP):
Callon Petroleum Company (NYSE:CPE):
Devon Energy Corporation (NYSE:DVN):
Marathon Oil Corporation (NYSE:MRO):
Murphy Oil Corporation (NYSE:MUR):
