Wednesday was a day of ups and downs for the stock market. Literally. The started out with a gap up, then went down, they went up, then pulled back into the FOMC meeting, and then exploded in a 3-wave move, but pulled back into the close. They closed up, the technicals were great, and a lot of our stocks did well. Let’s take a look at them.
E-Commerce China Dangdang Inc. (NYSE:DANG) is just outstanding lately, up 1.28 to 11.48, or 12 1/2%, on 6 million shares on Wednesday. It moved up to test the gap from Nov and shows some resistance up in that area. So let’s see if it follows through and then heads up toward 12-12 1/4. The secondary target is 13 1/2.
DS Healthcare Group, Inc. (NASDAQ:DSKX) has been a beautiful chart ever since it broke out of the base. Volume began to surge — it flagged, flagged again, moved 5-waves up near resistance, and broke out on Wednesday. It has gone from 73 cents all the way up to 4.46, and on Wednesday, it was up 66 cents to 3.59, or 18.3%, on 1.4 million shares. Momentum is strong so it may extend. It wouldn’t be shocking to see it get up into the 6-range, but be careful. Keep an eye on it.
Radius Health, Inc. (NASDAQ:RDUS), which we put a swing trade on, consolidated for three-four weeks, and broke out on Wednesday on volume, up 3.16 to 51.73, or 6.5%, on 859,000 shares traded. Now it’s in new, all-time high territory. Look for more upside. Target is in the high 50’s, and then see where it goes from there.
Tonix Pharmaceuticals Holding Corp (NASDAQ:TNXP) is a swing trade of ours that’s working wonderfully, up 50 cents to 10.40 or 5%, on 800,000 shares traded on Wednesday. After it broke out, it kept running for three or four days right up to the swing target. The next target is around 15. Let’s see if it gets a consolidation that sets it up for that.
