If you want just one chart to capture what a madcap carnival the Fed has made of this "stock market,” I present to you the entire history of AMC Entertainment (NYSE:AMC).

As you will observe from the green horizontal I’ve helpfully laid down, today marks the most expensive price in the company’s history. This has nothing to do with revenues. Nothing to with profit. Nothing to do with prospects. No one could sell enough overpriced popcorn with butter on it to justify this price. It’s just a result of a swarm of stimmy-powered retailers squeezing the hedgies. Nothing more.

Who cares. It is a revolt against hedge funds/wall street.
"Nothing more" than what happened to Tesla, or any other stock EVER. Speculation is the name of the game. Assuming stock prices mimic real value is ludicrous, or a gross attempt of showing readers how markets should work.
It wouldnwork this way if they issued shares as NFT's. That would stop all of the market manipulation and naked short selling and stop phantom shares. This would prevent situations like this whereas hedgefunds can continue to short companies with shares that either dont exist or are sold multiple times over. Its no wonder peolle are losing faith in the financial system.

Dear Mr Knight, shall we talk I. E. about Tesla value? Everybody worldwide knows that the majority of TESLA revenues are coming from "pollution credit" that Tesla sells to most important car makers worldwide... and this was just one example... Unfortunately the US stock market is full of company with close to 0 revenues and really high Mark Cap. Why are you shooting just on AMC? Cause AMC isn't part of the "system". Fortunately no one takes care of an article like this

Summed up perfectly. This stock (and many many others) are a technical trader's dream. And definitely has no place in an investor's portfolio.

Really, share price chart? What is that for? Do you even know that the stock was deluted 1:6 thus the prices from before delution should be divided by 6. Why don't you show a chart of the market cap -- to illustrate your point. Otherwise you coming off like you don't know what this is about. Now, if you chart the market cap, then you really see the overvalue picture.
