- Akorn Inc. (NASDAQ:AKRX) popped 1.05, or 29 1/2%, to 4.60, on 19 million shares on Wednesday. This stock has had a fantastic move in the last four days, taking it from 2.69 all the way up to 4.84. You can see that the bottom line of resistance is in the 4.60 zone. If it gets through it, the targets are 6.00, and then 7 3/4.
- Carbon Black Inc. (NASDAQ:CBLK), one of my featured stocks in the Market Watch article, formed a long-term pattern that began in Jan 2018 near 35.38, goes all the way down to Dec 2018 just under 15.00, formed a beautiful base with a triple bottom, made a breakaway move on big volume, and then broke out on Wednesday, gaining of 74 cents, or 4.42%, to 17.48, on 3.6 million shares. I’m looking at 20, 20 1/2, and 23 as the next targets.
- ConforMIS Inc. (NASDAQ:CFMS), one of our swings, is acting great with volume, advancing 41 cents, or 14.24%, to 3.29, on 4.4 million shares on Wednesday. It tried to break out of a coil and flagged. It looks to me like midrange it should be penetrated as early as Thursday at 3 3/4, and 6 1/2-7 over the next week or two.
- Qorvo Inc. (NASDAQ:QRVO), a chipmaker for smart phones, on earnings on Wednesday, popped up to resistance, gaining 2.50, or 3.39%, to 76.18, on 4.3 million shares, and then backed off. Anything over 79, you’re looking at 84-85 going forward.
- Voyager Therapeutics Inc. (NASDAQ:VYGR) (VYGR) extended its move 97 cents, or 4.12%, to 24.49, on 492,255 shares traded on Wednesday. It’s at the highest it’s been in a long time, going back to the beginning of 2018. My target now is 32-33.
