Acacia Communications, Inc. (ACIA) is a current swing trade of ours. Since the recent explosive move, it backed off, and for just one day it’s coming on again, jumping 1.42, or 3%, to 46.64, on a million shares on Thursday. If it gets through the 47 range, you may see 50-55-60 going forward. What I prefer is a longer consolidation over the next week, or two, and then let it sit up and go.
Ceragon Networks Ltd. (CRNT) exploded 56 cents, or 14%, to 4.52, on 3.7 million shares on Thursday. That is very big volume for that stock. The last 4 days it’s been huge. Technically, this stock has been up 8 days in a row, and then blew through the triple-top. In my opinion it’s on its way to 5 1/4-1/2.
Vanda Pharmaceuticals Inc. (VNDA) is a current swing trade of ours that is acting great. On Thursday, it exploded big time by 3.35, or 17%, to 22.46, on 1.9 million shares. The declining channel and pullback channel were broken with a pop on good volume. If it works well, and gets through Thursday’s high of 25.07, it should get to 29-29 1/2.
Zafgen, Inc. (ZFGN), a recent swing trade of ours, reiterated Thursday, after it broke back out, gaining 1.41, or 14% to 11.49, on 722,700 shares traded. Keep an eye on this stock, and if it gets over 12.35, the targets will be 15 and 18.
