Investing.com – Turkey stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Transport, Technology and Sports sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Istanbul, the BIST 100 fell 0.46%.
The best performers of the session on the BIST 100 were Ihlas Holding (IS:IHLAS), which rose 7.69% or 0.020 points to trade at 0.280 at the close. Meanwhile, Odas Elektrik (IS:ODAS) added 4.40% or 0.370 points to end at 8.780 and Sise Cam (IS:SISE) was up 2.22% or 0.080 points to 3.690 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Tesco Kipa (IS:KIPA), which fell 19.68% or 0.370 points to trade at 1.510 at the close. Tav Havalimanlari (IS:TAVHL) declined 4.08% or 0.57 points to end at 13.40 and Celebi (IS:CLEBI) was down 3.89% or 0.92 points to 22.72.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Istanbul Stock Exchange by 307 to 50 and 51 ended unchanged.

Shares in Tav Havalimanlari (IS:TAVHL) fell to 52-week lows; losing 4.08% or 0.57 to 13.40. Shares in Celebi (IS:CLEBI) fell to 52-week lows; falling 3.89% or 0.92 to 22.72.
Gold for August delivery was up 0.87% or 11.15 to $1287.05 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in July fell 0.61% or 0.30 to hit $48.77 a barrel, while the August Brent oil contract fell 0.61% or 0.31 to trade at $50.23 a barrel.
USD/TRY was down 0.42% to 2.9175, while EUR/TRY rose 0.11% to 3.2928.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.19% at 94.45.
