Investing.com – Turkey stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Leasing & Factoring, Metal Products & Machinery and Telecoms sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Istanbul, the BIST 100 lost 0.27%.
The best performers of the session on the BIST 100 were Enka Insaat (IS:ENKAI), which rose 6.52% or 0.270 points to trade at 4.410 at the close. Meanwhile, Zorlu Enerji (IS:ZOREN) added 4.09% or 0.070 points to end at 1.780 and Turk Hava Yollari (IS:THYAO) was up 3.88% or 0.220 points to 5.890 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Netas Telekomunikasyon AS (IS:NETAS), which fell 3.05% or 0.27 points to trade at 8.58 at the close. Tekfen Holding (IS:TKFEN) declined 2.59% or 0.20 points to end at 7.53 and Park Elek. Madencilik (IS:PRKME) was down 2.45% or 0.050 points to 1.990.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Istanbul Stock Exchange by 165 to 151 and 90 ended unchanged.

Gold for August delivery was up 0.05% or 0.60 to $1323.00 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in August fell 2.77% or 1.32 to hit $46.32 a barrel, while the September Brent oil contract fell 2.71% or 1.33 to trade at $47.71 a barrel.
USD/TRY was up 0.25% to 2.9367, while EUR/TRY fell 0.56% to 3.2384.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.94% at 96.53.
