Investing.com – Turkey stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Metal Products & Machinery, Information Technology and Real Estate Investments sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Istanbul, the BIST 100 declined 0.18%.
The best performers of the session on the BIST 100 were Sise Cam (IS:SISE), which rose 3.71% or 0.140 points to trade at 3.910 at the close. Meanwhile, Vestel (IS:VESTL) added 3.43% or 0.240 points to end at 7.240 and Bizim Magazalari (IS:BIZIM) was up 3.29% or 0.56 points to 17.58 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ford Otosan (IS:FROTO), which fell 5.81% or 2.32 points to trade at 37.60 at the close. Ihlas Holding (IS:IHLAS) declined 4.35% or 0.010 points to end at 0.220 and Carrefoursa Carrefour Sabanci Ticaret Merkezi AS (IS:CRFSA) was down 3.22% or 0.24 points to 7.22.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Istanbul Stock Exchange by 211 to 118 and 80 ended unchanged.

Gold for June delivery was up 2.02% or 25.60 to $1292.00 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in June fell 0.63% or 0.29 to hit $45.74 a barrel, while the July Brent oil contract fell 1.09% or 0.52 to trade at $47.25 a barrel.
USD/TRY was down 0.65% to 2.7947, while EUR/TRY rose 0.16% to 3.1985.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.65% at 93.12.
