Investing.com – Turkey stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Information Technology, Food & Beverages and Real Estate Investments sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Istanbul, the BIST 100 fell 0.15%.
The best performers of the session on the BIST 100 were Ipek Dogal Enerji (IS:IPEKE), which rose 6.70% or 0.150 points to trade at 2.390 at the close. Meanwhile, Koza Madencilik (IS:KOZAA) added 5.58% or 0.130 points to end at 2.460 and Pegasus (IS:PGSUS) was up 5.18% or 0.630 points to 12.800 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Logo Yazilim (IS:LOGO), which fell 4.54% or 2.350 points to trade at 49.400 at the close. Tumosan Motor Ve Traktor (IS:TMSN) declined 3.38% or 0.280 points to end at 8.000 and Ulker Biskuvi (IS:ULKER) was down 2.96% or 0.62 points to 20.30.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Istanbul Stock Exchange by 175 to 160 and 72 ended unchanged.

Gold for December delivery was up 0.07% or 0.90 to $1256.40 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November fell 1.29% or 0.65 to hit $49.70 a barrel, while the December Brent oil contract fell 1.19% or 0.62 to trade at $51.33 a barrel.
USD/TRY was up 0.46% to 3.1028, while EUR/TRY rose 0.67% to 3.4131.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.19% at 97.89.
