Investing.com – Turkey stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Banking, Leasing & Factoring and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Istanbul, the BIST 100 gained 1.29%.
The best performers of the session on the BIST 100 were Karsan Otomotiv (IS:KARSN), which rose 6.06% or 0.080 points to trade at 1.400 at the close. Meanwhile, Saf Gmyo (IS:SAFGY) added 5.88% or 0.060 points to end at 1.080 and Ihlas Holding (IS:IHLAS) was up 4.35% or 0.010 points to 0.240 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Anadolu Cam (IS:ANACM), which fell 4.11% or 0.090 points to trade at 2.100 at the close. Ege Endustri (IS:EGEEN) declined 2.59% or 6.50 points to end at 244.50 and Koza Altin (IS:KOZAL) was down 2.12% or 0.45 points to 20.75.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Istanbul Stock Exchange by 247 to 157 and 10 ended unchanged.
Gold for December delivery was down 0.03% or 0.30 to $1131.40 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November rose 1.96% or 0.87 to hit $45.30 a barrel, while the November Brent oil contract rose 2.04% or 0.96 to trade at $48.30 a barrel.
USD/TRY was down 0.61% to 3.0391, while EUR/TRY fell 0.52% to 3.4207.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.12% at 96.02.
