Investing.com – Turkey stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Non-Metal Mineral Products, Textile & Leather and Wood, Paper & Printing sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Istanbul, the BIST 100 gained 0.96%.
The best performers of the session on the BIST 100 were Afyon Cimento (IS:AFYON), which rose 19.21% or 1.21 points to trade at 7.51 at the close. Meanwhile, Galatasaray Sportif (IS:GSRAY) added 9.76% or 3.14 points to end at 35.30 and Izmir Demir Celik (IS:IZMDC) was up 9.54% or 0.250 points to 2.870 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Eczacibasi Ilac (IS:ECILC), which fell 2.54% or 0.100 points to trade at 3.840 at the close. Trabzonspor Sportif (IS:TSPOR) declined 2.39% or 0.070 points to end at 2.860 and Tekfen Holding (IS:TKFEN) was down 1.94% or 0.15 points to 7.57.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Istanbul Stock Exchange by 209 to 97 and 99 ended unchanged.

Gold for December delivery was down 0.20% or 2.65 to $1314.45 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November rose 0.48% or 0.23 to hit $48.47 a barrel, while the December Brent oil contract rose 0.60% or 0.30 to trade at $50.49 a barrel.
USD/TRY was up 0.76% to 3.0231, while EUR/TRY rose 0.48% to 3.3893.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.30% at 95.67.
