Investing.com – Turkey stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Textile & Leather, Real Estate Investments and Information Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Istanbul, the BIST 100 rose 0.57%.
The best performers of the session on the BIST 100 were Logo Yazilim (IS:LOGO), which rose 6.74% or 3.200 points to trade at 50.700 at the close. Meanwhile, Carrefoursa Carrefour Sabanci Ticaret Merkezi AS (IS:CRFSA) added 4.39% or 0.25 points to end at 5.95 and Eczacibasi Ilac (IS:ECILC) was up 4.18% or 0.150 points to 3.740 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Galatasaray Sportif (IS:GSRAY), which fell 2.87% or 0.86 points to trade at 29.14 at the close. Netas Telekomunikasyon AS (IS:NETAS) declined 2.79% or 0.28 points to end at 9.75 and Tesco Kipa (IS:KIPA) was down 2.44% or 0.040 points to 1.600.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Istanbul Stock Exchange by 236 to 93 and 75 ended unchanged.
Shares in Eczacibasi Ilac (IS:ECILC) rose to all time highs; rising 4.18% or 0.150 to 3.740.
Gold for December delivery was down 1.02% or 13.75 to $1330.35 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in November fell 3.57% or 1.64 to hit $44.29 a barrel, while the December Brent oil contract fell 3.55% or 1.70 to trade at $46.23 a barrel.
USD/TRY was down 0.01% to 2.9808, while EUR/TRY fell 0.43% to 3.3408.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.29% at 95.49.
