Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Financials, Technology and Consumer Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 1.30%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which rose 5.82% or 27.10 points to trade at 493.10 at the close. Meanwhile, Boliden AB (ST:BOL) added 0.72% or 1.00 points to end at 140.20 and Skanska AB ser. B (ST:SKAb) was up 0.57% or 1.00 points to 176.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa), which fell 4.75% or 1.56 points to trade at 31.27 at the close. SKF, AB ser. B (ST:SKFb) declined 3.25% or 4.7 points to end at 139.8 and Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVBs) was down 2.44% or 5.6 points to 224.2.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 385 to 174 and 46 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 2.59% or 1.16 to $43.62 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 1.85% or 0.85 to hit $44.98 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 0.63% or 8.15 to trade at $1287.65 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.67% to 9.2413, while USD/SEK rose 0.95% to 8.0338.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.41% at 92.91.
