Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Financials, Telecoms and Healthcare sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 1.00%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb), which rose 1.68% or 3.6 points to trade at 217.5 at the close. Meanwhile, Lundin Petroleum AB (ST:LUPE) added 0.37% or 0.60 points to end at 163.10 and Boliden AB (ST:BOL) was up 0.33% or 0.70 points to 210.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nokia Oyj (ST:NOKIA), which fell 2.16% or 0.87 points to trade at 39.32 at the close. AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN) declined 2.15% or 11.0 points to end at 501.5 and Nordea Bank AB (ST:NDA) was down 2.05% or 1.95 points to 93.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 446 to 173 and 51 ended unchanged.
Shares in Nokia Oyj (ST:NOKIA) fell to 3-years lows; losing 2.16% or 0.87 to 39.32.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.73% or 0.34 to $46.52 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.88% or 0.43 to hit $48.18 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 1.38% or 17.55 to trade at $1290.65 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.23% to 9.8948, while USD/SEK fell 0.89% to 8.9497.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.56% at 97.77.
