Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Consumer Goods, Oil & Gas and Consumer Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 0.94%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa), which rose 0.19% or 0.05 points to trade at 26.48 at the close. Meanwhile, Nordea Bank AB (ST:NDA) added 0.06% or 0.05 points to end at 85.40 and Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken A (ST:SEBa) was up 0.06% or 0.05 points to 86.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which fell 3.80% or 4.30 points to trade at 109.00 at the close. Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb) declined 2.78% or 5.9 points to end at 206.6 and Svenska Cellulosa AB SCA ser. B (ST:SCAb) was down 2.71% or 7.3 points to 261.9.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 392 to 197 and 61 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 2.48% or 1.18 to $46.44 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 2.78% or 1.39 to hit $48.60 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.35% or 4.65 to trade at $1336.95 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.27% to 9.5323, while USD/SEK rose 0.70% to 8.5030.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.45% at 95.47.
