Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Consumer Goods, Healthcare and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 0.93%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa), which rose 6.29% or 1.97 points to trade at 33.31 at the close. Meanwhile, Volvo, AB ser. B (ST:VOLVb) added 4.92% or 4.65 points to end at 99.15 and Boliden AB (ST:BOL) was up 1.44% or 2.00 points to 140.70 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which fell 8.09% or 45.00 points to trade at 511.00 at the close. Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIBs) declined 7.86% or 15.1 points to end at 176.9 and Svenska Cellulosa AB SCA ser. B (ST:SCAb) was down 3.57% or 9.1 points to 245.6.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 354 to 205 and 53 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 2.01% or 0.87 to $44.05 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 2.07% or 0.92 to hit $45.45 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 1.12% or 14.00 to trade at $1236.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.62% to 9.1332, while USD/SEK fell 0.13% to 8.1307.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.44% at 95.04.
