Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Telecoms, Consumer Services and Consumer Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 0.92%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Lundin Petroleum AB (ST:LUPE), which rose 3.90% or 4.20 points to trade at 112.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Sandvik AB (ST:SAND) added 1.76% or 1.25 points to end at 72.45 and Nordea Bank AB (ST:NDA) was up 1.18% or 1.10 points to 94.30 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Svenska Cellulosa AB SCA ser. B (ST:SCAb), which fell 5.00% or 11.7 points to trade at 222.1 at the close. SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) declined 3.07% or 0.88 points to end at 27.78 and TeliaSonera AB (ST:TLSN) was down 3.06% or 1.38 points to 43.66.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 265 to 178 and 4 ended unchanged.
Shares in TeliaSonera AB (ST:TLSN) fell to 52-week lows; losing 3.06% or 1.38 to 43.66.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.18% or 0.08 to $45.17 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.63% or 0.30 to hit $48.06 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.02% or 0.20 to trade at $1115.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.18% to 9.3712, while USD/SEK fell 0.05% to 8.3656.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.28% at 96.15.
