Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Technology, Healthcare and Telecoms sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 0.89%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Securitas AB ser. B (ST:SECUb), which rose 2.55% or 3.50 points to trade at 140.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Boliden AB (ST:BOL) added 1.94% or 4.00 points to end at 210.20 and Hennes & Mauritz AB, H & M ser. B (ST:HMb) was up 1.39% or 3.5 points to 254.7 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Telefonaktiebolaget L M Ericsson B (ST:ERICb), which fell 20.27% or 12.54 points to trade at 49.31 at the close. Nokia Oyj (ST:NOKIA) declined 5.33% or 2.53 points to end at 44.94 and Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb) was down 2.85% or 2.70 points to 92.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 411 to 197 and 53 ended unchanged.
Shares in Telefonaktiebolaget L M Ericsson B (ST:ERICb) fell to 5-year lows; falling 20.27% or 12.54 to 49.31.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 1.16% or 0.59 to $50.20 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.80% or 0.42 to hit $51.99 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.09% or 1.15 to trade at $1254.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.18% to 9.7314, while USD/SEK rose 0.14% to 8.8313.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.23% at 97.94.
