Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Financials and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 0.82%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b), which rose 0.88% or 0.65 points to trade at 74.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Telia Company AB (ST:TELIA) added 0.76% or 0.29 points to end at 38.35 and Svenska Cellulosa AB SCA ser. B (ST:SCAb) was up 0.56% or 1.4 points to 252.1 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which fell 4.44% or 4.40 points to trade at 94.70 at the close. Nordea Bank AB (ST:NDA) declined 2.55% or 2.30 points to end at 88.00 and Boliden AB (ST:BOL) was down 2.04% or 4.30 points to 206.20.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 398 to 217 and 47 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 1.32% or 0.68 to $50.67 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 1.37% or 0.73 to hit $52.41 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.07% or 0.85 to trade at $1259.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 1.22% to 9.7557, while USD/SEK rose 1.85% to 8.8146.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.62% at 97.51.
