Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Telecoms, Consumer Services and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 0.76% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa), which rose 1.88% or 0.58 points to trade at 31.51 at the close. Meanwhile, SKF, AB ser. B (ST:SKFb) added 1.36% or 1.9 points to end at 141.1 and Alfa Laval AB (ST:ALFA) was up 0.57% or 0.7 points to 123.6 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which fell 5.30% or 26.30 points to trade at 470.30 at the close. Nordea Bank AB (ST:NDA) declined 2.11% or 1.60 points to end at 74.15 and Nokia Oyj (ST:NOKIA) was down 1.77% or 0.83 points to 46.02.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 269 to 268 and 67 ended unchanged.
Shares in Nordea Bank AB (ST:NDA) fell to 52-week lows; down 2.11% or 1.60 to 74.15. Shares in Nokia Oyj (ST:NOKIA) fell to 52-week lows; losing 1.77% or 0.83 to 46.02.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 1.74% or 0.77 to $45.09 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 1.78% or 0.80 to hit $45.81 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 1.77% or 22.55 to trade at $1294.85 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.34% to 9.2823, while USD/SEK rose 0.18% to 8.1265.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.06% at 93.67.
