Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Technology, Healthcare and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 0.56%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Swedbank AB ser A (ST:SWEDa), which rose 0.64% or 1.2 points to trade at 189.3 at the close. Meanwhile, Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb) added 0.53% or 0.60 points to end at 113.60 and Telia Company AB (ST:TELIA) was up 0.16% or 0.06 points to 38.49 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were SKF, AB ser. B (ST:SKFb), which fell 1.79% or 2.6 points to trade at 142.4 at the close. SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) declined 1.52% or 0.41 points to end at 26.51 and Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVBs) was down 1.51% or 3.2 points to 209.4.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 341 to 236 and 72 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.43% or 0.20 to $46.97 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.61% or 0.30 to hit $49.35 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.34% or 4.55 to trade at $1325.15 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.28% to 9.4867, while USD/SEK rose 0.21% to 8.4156.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.05% at 94.78.
