Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Consumer Services, Telecoms and Consumer Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 0.46%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa), which rose 4.23% or 1.08 points to trade at 26.63 at the close. Meanwhile, Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIBs) added 0.97% or 1.6 points to end at 165.8 and Atlas Copco AB ser. A (ST:ATCOa) was up 0.47% or 1.2 points to 258.6 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were SKF, AB ser. B (ST:SKFb), which fell 2.30% or 3.5 points to trade at 148.7 at the close. Hennes & Mauritz AB, H & M ser. B (ST:HMb) declined 1.96% or 4.9 points to end at 245.5 and Swedish Match AB (ST:SWMA) was down 1.58% or 4.9 points to 305.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 392 to 219 and 50 ended unchanged.
Shares in Atlas Copco AB ser. A (ST:ATCOa) rose to 52-week highs; rising 0.47% or 1.2 to 258.6.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 1.63% or 0.82 to $49.62 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 1.79% or 0.94 to hit $51.57 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.33% or 4.15 to trade at $1248.85 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.42% to 9.6663, while USD/SEK rose 0.38% to 8.6654.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.20% at 96.85.
