Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Technology and Consumer Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 0.46%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa), which rose 1.09% or 0.27 points to trade at 24.98 at the close. Meanwhile, Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb) added 0.75% or 1.7 points to end at 229.1 and Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb) was up 0.52% or 0.50 points to 96.10 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Securitas AB ser. B (ST:SECUb), which fell 1.51% or 2.10 points to trade at 137.10 at the close. Lundin Petroleum AB (ST:LUPE) declined 1.37% or 1.90 points to end at 137.20 and Volvo, AB ser. B (ST:VOLVb) was down 1.36% or 1.20 points to 87.20.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 388 to 173 and 74 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 4.10% or 1.62 to $41.13 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 3.88% or 1.62 to hit $43.42 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.60% or 8.20 to trade at $1364.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.28% to 9.5322, while USD/SEK rose 0.40% to 8.5509.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.52% at 95.51.
