Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Consumer Services, Technology and Consumer Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 0.33%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Boliden AB (ST:BOL), which rose 1.15% or 1.60 points to trade at 140.20 at the close. Meanwhile, Sandvik AB (ST:SAND) added 0.92% or 0.75 points to end at 82.15 and AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN) was up 0.74% or 3.5 points to 474.9 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which fell 2.65% or 14.50 points to trade at 532.50 at the close. Hennes & Mauritz AB, H & M ser. B (ST:HMb) declined 1.58% or 4.2 points to end at 261.5 and Skanska AB ser. B (ST:SKAb) was down 1.40% or 2.50 points to 175.50.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 300 to 257 and 52 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 1.11% or 0.53 to $48.25 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July rose 0.84% or 0.41 to hit $49.38 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 0.55% or 6.95 to trade at $1281.15 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.26% to 9.3275, while USD/SEK fell 0.41% to 8.2277.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.18% at 94.36.
