Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Consumer Goods, Oil & Gas and Healthcare sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 0.20%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which rose 5.09% or 27.00 points to trade at 557.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Hennes & Mauritz AB, H & M ser. B (ST:HMb) added 0.92% or 2.7 points to end at 295.1 and Volvo, AB ser. B (ST:VOLVb) was up 0.50% or 0.45 points to 90.75 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Svenska Cellulosa AB SCA ser. B (ST:SCAb), which fell 2.87% or 7.4 points to trade at 250.8 at the close. Boliden AB (ST:BOL) declined 1.41% or 1.90 points to end at 132.80 and Sandvik AB (ST:SAND) was down 1.38% or 1.20 points to 85.45.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 282 to 261 and 65 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for May delivery was down 2.99% or 1.24 to $40.26 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 2.53% or 1.11 to hit $42.73 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 0.81% or 9.90 to trade at $1236.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.11% to 9.1776, while USD/SEK fell 0.11% to 8.1220.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.35% at 94.61.
