Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Technology, Industrials and Consumer Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 0.09%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb), which rose 2.58% or 6.2 points to trade at 246.8 at the close. Meanwhile, Svenska Handelsbanken ser. A (ST:SHBa) added 0.93% or 1.1 points to end at 118.9 and Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b) was up 0.82% or 0.70 points to 86.05 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Volvo, AB ser. B (ST:VOLVb), which fell 2.70% or 2.45 points to trade at 88.25 at the close. Telefonaktiebolaget L M Ericsson B (ST:ERICb) declined 1.15% or 0.95 points to end at 81.90 and Atlas Copco AB ser. B (ST:ATCOb) was down 1.04% or 2.2 points to 209.5.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 285 to 269 and 9 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.60% or 0.25 to $41.70 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.19% or 0.09 to hit $44.23 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 1.35% or 14.40 to trade at $1083.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.02% to 9.3011, while USD/SEK fell 0.82% to 8.6554.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.74% at 98.93.
