Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Technology, Industrials and Consumer Goods sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 0.07%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa), which rose 2.49% or 0.71 points to trade at 29.23 at the close. Meanwhile, Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken A (ST:SEBa) added 2.39% or 2.15 points to end at 92.00 and Svenska Handelsbanken ser. A (ST:SHBa) was up 2.04% or 2.5 points to 125.3 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were ASSA ABLOY AB ser. B (ST:ASSAb), which fell 6.44% or 11.5 points to trade at 167.0 at the close. Telefonaktiebolaget L M Ericsson B (ST:ERICb) declined 5.49% or 2.63 points to end at 45.27 and Volvo, AB ser. B (ST:VOLVb) was down 1.88% or 1.82 points to 94.88.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 309 to 278 and 71 ended unchanged.
Shares in Telefonaktiebolaget L M Ericsson B (ST:ERICb) fell to 5-year lows; falling 5.49% or 2.63 to 45.27. Shares in Svenska Handelsbanken ser. A (ST:SHBa) rose to 52-week highs; up 2.04% or 2.5 to 125.3.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.10% or 0.05 to $50.58 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.35% or 0.18 to hit $51.56 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.22% or 2.75 to trade at $1264.75 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.06% to 9.7044, while USD/SEK rose 0.64% to 8.9304.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.47% at 98.75.
