Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Consumer Services, Oil & Gas and Basic Materials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 0.04%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which rose 3.46% or 3.50 points to trade at 104.60 at the close. Meanwhile, Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVBs) added 1.43% or 3.0 points to end at 212.5 and ABB Ltd (ST:ABB) was up 1.01% or 1.9 points to 190.6 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa), which fell 3.17% or 0.76 points to trade at 23.25 at the close. Alfa Laval AB (ST:ALFA) declined 2.90% or 4.0 points to end at 134.1 and Volvo, AB ser. B (ST:VOLVb) was down 1.17% or 1.17 points to 98.83.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 310 to 270 and 66 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.36% or 0.16 to $44.02 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.04% or 0.02 to hit $45.93 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.03% or 0.35 to trade at $1318.15 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.16% to 9.5870, while USD/SEK rose 0.20% to 8.5824.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.08% at 95.87.
