Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Telecoms, Oil & Gas and Healthcare sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 0.04%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which rose 2.47% or 2.70 points to trade at 111.90 at the close. Meanwhile, Svenska Handelsbanken ser. A (ST:SHBa) added 1.72% or 1.9 points to end at 112.4 and SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) was up 1.33% or 0.34 points to 25.81 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Telia Company AB (ST:TELIA), which fell 1.32% or 0.51 points to trade at 38.16 at the close. Lundin Petroleum AB (ST:LUPE) declined 1.13% or 1.70 points to end at 149.00 and Swedbank AB ser A (ST:SWEDa) was down 1.02% or 2.0 points to 194.9.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 314 to 261 and 73 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 2.82% or 1.26 to $43.44 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 2.56% or 1.20 to hit $45.69 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.45% or 5.95 to trade at $1317.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.18% to 9.5754, while USD/SEK fell 0.16% to 8.5507.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.39% at 95.64.
