Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Industrials, Oil & Gas and Financials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 0.04%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Boliden AB (ST:BOL), which rose 7.71% or 12.40 points to trade at 173.20 at the close. Meanwhile, Nokia Oyj (ST:NOKI) added 3.40% or 1.95 points to end at 59.25 and Telefonaktiebolaget L M Ericsson B (ST:ERICb) was up 3.38% or 3.05 points to 93.35 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Volvo, AB ser. B (ST:VOLVb), which fell 6.33% or 6.90 points to trade at 102.10 at the close. Sandvik AB (ST:SAND) declined 4.68% or 4.40 points to end at 89.55 and Modern Times Group MTG AB ser. B (ST:MTGBs) was down 1.88% or 4.6 points to 240.4.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 226 to 210 and 7 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 1.02% or 0.52 to $50.39 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.27% or 0.15 to hit $56.77 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 1.16% or 13.30 to trade at $1130.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.79% to 9.3744, while USD/SEK rose 1.07% to 8.6433.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.23% at 97.98.
