Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the Telecoms, Technology and Healthcare sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 0.83%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Telefonaktiebolaget L M Ericsson B (ST:ERICb), which rose 1.96% or 1.20 points to trade at 62.35 at the close. Meanwhile, Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b) added 1.88% or 1.45 points to end at 78.70 and Boliden AB (ST:BOL) was up 1.83% or 2.40 points to 133.90 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Lundin Petroleum AB (ST:LUPE), which fell 1.08% or 1.60 points to trade at 145.90 at the close. Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb) declined 1.07% or 2.4 points to end at 222.6 and ABB Ltd (ST:ABB) was down 0.30% or 0.5 points to 168.6.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 374 to 205 and 34 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 1.01% or 0.47 to $46.23 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.54% or 0.26 to hit $47.82 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 0.08% or 1.05 to trade at $1272.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.20% to 9.3276, while USD/SEK rose 0.85% to 8.2551.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.62% at 94.69.
