Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Healthcare, Consumer Services and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 0.66%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Nokia Oyj (ST:NOKIA), which rose 3.13% or 1.70 points to trade at 55.95 at the close. Meanwhile, Skanska AB ser. B (ST:SKAb) added 1.94% or 3.20 points to end at 168.40 and Nordea Bank AB (ST:NDA) was up 1.72% or 1.65 points to 97.80 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa), which fell 2.24% or 0.70 points to trade at 30.57 at the close. Boliden AB (ST:BOL) declined 1.02% or 1.40 points to end at 135.50 and TeliaSonera AB (ST:TLSN) was down 1.02% or 0.48 points to 46.39.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 263 to 182 and 4 ended unchanged.
Shares in SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) fell to 5-year lows; down 2.24% or 0.70 to 30.57.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 2.93% or 1.32 to $46.34 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 1.78% or 0.84 to hit $48.31 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.47% or 5.30 to trade at $1132.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.28% to 9.3454, while USD/SEK rose 1.13% to 8.3382.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.60% at 95.94.
