Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Basic Materials and Telecoms sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 0.44% to hit a new 6-months high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa), which rose 6.24% or 2.14 points to trade at 36.42 at the close. Meanwhile, Lundin Petroleum AB (ST:LUPE) added 4.95% or 8.00 points to end at 169.50 and Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb) was up 2.25% or 1.85 points to 83.90 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN), which fell 2.41% or 12.1 points to trade at 490.9 at the close. ASSA ABLOY AB ser. B (ST:ASSAb) declined 1.34% or 2.3 points to end at 169.9 and Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIBs) was down 0.89% or 1.3 points to 144.7.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 330 to 275 and 61 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for January delivery was down 1.64% or 0.79 to $47.45 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.94% or 0.46 to hit $48.44 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.10% or 1.20 to trade at $1211.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.03% to 9.8037, while USD/SEK rose 0.10% to 9.2306.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.16% at 101.10.
