Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Industrials, Consumer Services and Technology sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 rose 0.14%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa), which rose 6.48% or 1.58 points to trade at 25.98 at the close. Meanwhile, Nokia Oyj (ST:NOKIA) added 4.93% or 2.35 points to end at 50.00 and Atlas Copco AB ser. B (ST:ATCOb) was up 2.24% or 4.6 points to 210.4 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken A (ST:SEBa), which fell 1.30% or 0.95 points to trade at 72.25 at the close. Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb) declined 1.29% or 3.0 points to end at 230.3 and Nordea Bank AB (ST:NDA) was down 1.11% or 0.80 points to 71.25.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 299 to 271 and 65 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 3.87% or 1.81 to $44.99 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 4.06% or 1.97 to hit $46.50 a barrel, while the August Gold contract rose 0.60% or 8.05 to trade at $1343.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.30% to 9.4173, while USD/SEK fell 0.77% to 8.4749.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.40% at 96.16.
