Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Insurance, Media & Publishing and Energy & Utilities sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 2.05% to hit a new 6-months low.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Arabia Fertilizers Co. (SE:2020), which rose 1.85% or 1.25 points to trade at 68.75 at the close. Meanwhile, Taiba Holding Co. (SE:4090) added 1.63% or 0.60 points to end at 37.40 and Almarai Company (SE:2280) was up 0.91% or 0.50 points to 55.50 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Industrial Export Co (SE:4140), which fell 9.20% or 3.10 points to trade at 30.60 at the close. Takween Advanced Industries (SE:1201) declined 8.76% or 1.70 points to end at 17.70 and Malath Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8020) was down 8.72% or 0.95 points to 9.95.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 158 to 8 and 3 ended unchanged.
Shares in Malath Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8020) fell to all time lows; down 8.72% or 0.95 to 9.95.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.60% or 0.26 to $43.88 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.48% or 0.22 to hit $45.99 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.61% or 7.95 to trade at $1318.15 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.11% to 4.1894, while USD/SAR fell 0.03% to 3.7503.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.32% at 95.75.
