Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Sunday, as losses in the Transport, Multi Investment and Retail sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 1.29%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Indian Company Insurance (SE:8110), which rose 9.70% or 0.65 points to trade at 7.35 at the close. Meanwhile, Tihama Advertising&Public Relations (SE:4070) added 9.41% or 2.70 points to end at 31.40 and Emaar The Economic City (SE:4220) was up 6.44% or 0.85 points to 14.05 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Industrial Investment Group (SE:2250), which fell 5.78% or 0.65 points to trade at 10.60 at the close. National Petrochemical Company (SE:2002) declined 5.32% or 0.75 points to end at 13.35 and AL JOUF CEMENT COMPANY (SE:3091) was down 5.29% or 0.45 points to 8.05.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 138 to 23 and 6 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for March delivery was down 2.25% or 0.71 to $31.00 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 0.96% or 0.33 to hit $34.13 a barrel, while the April Gold contract rose 1.45% or 16.80 to trade at $1174.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.43% to 4.1854, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.7506.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.48% at 96.98.
