Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Sunday, as losses in the Hotels & Tourism, Insurance and Financial Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 1.08%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Indian Company Insurance (SE:8110), which rose 5.53% or 0.65 points to trade at 12.40 at the close. Meanwhile, BURUJ COOPERATIVE INSURANCE CO (SE:8270) added 4.31% or 0.75 points to end at 18.15 and Etihad Atheeb Telecommunication (SE:7040) was up 3.39% or 0.100 points to 3.050 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Al Sagr Co-operative Insurance Co (SE:8180), which fell 9.42% or 3.10 points to trade at 29.80 at the close. Solidarity Saudi Takaful Co (SE:8290) declined 9.22% or 0.65 points to end at 6.40 and Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8311) was down 5.93% or 0.40 points to 6.35.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 128 to 30 and 11 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.24% or 0.12 to $50.32 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.02% or 0.01 to hit $52.02 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.48% or 6.00 to trade at $1251.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.77% to 4.1154, while USD/SAR fell 0.00% to 3.7508.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.56% at 98.08.
