Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Hotels & Tourism, Insurance and Energy & Utilities sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 0.82%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Arab National Bank (SE:1080), which rose 2.10% or 0.35 points to trade at 17.05 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Telecom (SE:7010) added 1.75% or 1.00 points to end at 58.00 and Jazan Development Co. (SE:6090) was up 1.47% or 0.15 points to 10.35 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Middle East Healthcare Co (SE:4009), which fell 6.07% or 3.25 points to trade at 50.25 at the close. United Cooperative Assurance Co (SE:8190) declined 5.00% or 0.70 points to end at 13.30 and Saudia Dairy and Foodstuff .Co (SE:2270) was down 4.45% or 6.50 points to 139.50.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 139 to 20 and 10 ended unchanged.
Shares in Middle East Healthcare Co (SE:4009) fell to all time lows; falling 6.07% or 3.25 to 50.25.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.78% or 0.36 to $45.99 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 1.01% or 0.49 to hit $48.24 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.43% or 5.65 to trade at $1310.85 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.05% to 4.1765, while USD/SAR rose 0.02% to 3.7504.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.10% at 96.15.
