Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Sunday, as losses in the Hotels & Tourism, Real Estate Development and Cement sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share fell 0.76%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Arabia Insurance Cooperative Co (SE:8160), which rose 9.55% or 0.95 points to trade at 10.90 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Arabian Mining Company (SE:1211) added 9.54% or 3.50 points to end at 40.20 and Al Sagr Co-operative Insurance Co (SE:8180) was up 9.51% or 3.30 points to 38.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Arriyadh Development Co. (SE:4150), which fell 8.39% or 1.80 points to trade at 19.65 at the close. Tabuk Cement Co. (SE:3090) declined 8.19% or 1.45 points to end at 16.25 and Arabian Cement Co (SE:3010) was down 5.78% or 3.25 points to 53.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 90 to 62 and 16 ended unchanged.
Shares in Al Sagr Co-operative Insurance Co (SE:8180) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 9.51% or 3.30 to 38.00.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.02% or 0.01 to $46.02 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.80% or 0.38 to hit $47.39 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 2.27% or 28.80 to trade at $1295.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.86% to 4.2937, while USD/SAR rose 0.03% to 3.7498.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.76% at 93.02.
