Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Multi Investment, Petrochemicals and Telecoms & IT sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.54%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Alkhaleej Training & Education Co (SE:4290), which rose 8.02% or 4.53 points to trade at 61.00 at the close. Meanwhile, ACE ARABIA COOPERATIVE INSURANCE (SE:8240) added 3.07% or 1.92 points to end at 64.50 and United Cooperative Assurance Co (SE:8190) was up 2.70% or 0.40 points to 15.20 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Kingdom Holding Company (SE:4280), which fell 3.80% or 0.79 points to trade at 20.00 at the close. Alinma Tokio Marine Co (SE:8312) declined 3.30% or 1.51 points to end at 44.30 and Saudi Industrial Investment Group (SE:2250) was down 2.97% or 0.83 points to 27.10.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 128 to 37.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 3.06% or 1.62 to $51.39 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 2.37% or 1.35 to hit $55.80 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 1.20% or 14.00 to trade at $1152.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.93% to 4.1080, while USD/SAR rose 0.02% to 3.7504.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.82% at 97.22.
