Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Industrial Investment, Transport and Petrochemicals sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.53%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Red Sea Housing Services Company (SE:4230), which rose 4.09% or 1.10 points to trade at 28.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Trade Union Cooperative Insurance (SE:8170) added 3.51% or 0.50 points to end at 14.75 and Al Alamiya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8280) was up 3.22% or 1.00 points to 32.10 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Arabian Mining Company (SE:1211), which fell 3.88% or 1.50 points to trade at 37.20 at the close. Emaar The Economic City (SE:4220) declined 3.73% or 0.55 points to end at 14.20 and Dallah Healthcare Holding Company (SE:4004) was down 3.13% or 2.75 points to 85.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 94 to 52 and 24 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.04% or 0.02 to $45.92 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.17% or 0.08 to hit $47.04 a barrel, while the August Gold contract rose 0.01% or 0.15 to trade at $1329.45 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.51% to 4.1325, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.7504.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.55% at 97.09.
