Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Telecoms & IT, Building & Construction and Insurance sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 0.46%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were National Gas & Industrialization Co (SE:2080), which rose 5.82% or 1.60 points to trade at 29.10 at the close. Meanwhile, Al-Tayyar Travel Group Holding Co. (SE:1810) added 5.71% or 2.00 points to end at 37.00 and Al-Jouf Agriculture Development Co (SE:6070) was up 4.42% or 1.30 points to 30.70 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were United Wire Factories Company (SE:1301), which fell 3.46% or 1.00 points to trade at 27.90 at the close. BURUJ COOPERATIVE INSURANCE CO (SE:8270) declined 3.38% or 0.70 points to end at 20.00 and Yanbu National Petrochemical Co (SE:2290) was down 3.28% or 1.50 points to 44.30.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 118 to 30 and 21 ended unchanged.
Shares in National Gas & Industrialization Co (SE:2080) rose to 52-week highs; rising 5.82% or 1.60 to 29.10.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 0.44% or 0.20 to $45.94 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.21% or 0.10 to hit $48.45 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.31% or 4.15 to trade at $1351.65 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.74% to 4.2248, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7500.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.74% at 94.87.
