Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Energy & Utilities, Petrochemicals and Industrial Investment sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 0.37%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Al-Ahlia Insurance Company (SE:8140), which rose 9.31% or 1.49 points to trade at 17.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Allied Cooperative Insurance Group (SE:8150) added 5.15% or 1.91 points to end at 39.00 and Saudia Dairy and Foodstuff .Co (SE:2270) was up 4.65% or 6.00 points to 135.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Anb Insurance (SE:8011), which fell 9.62% or 6.39 points to trade at 60.00 at the close. Saudi United Cooperative Insurance (SE:8060) declined 5.20% or 0.98 points to end at 17.85 and AXA Cooperative Insurance Company (SE:8250) was down 4.21% or 1.02 points to 23.20.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 104 to 59.
Shares in Allied Cooperative Insurance Group (SE:8150) rose to 52-week highs; gaining 5.15% or 1.91 to 39.00.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 3.22% or 1.90 to $60.83 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 2.52% or 1.68 to hit $68.12 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 0.94% or 11.10 to trade at $1197.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.32% to 4.1950, while USD/SAR fell 0.02% to 3.7502.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.37% at 95.23.
