Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Transport, Energy & Utilities and Financial Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 0.21%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Gulf General Cooperative Insurance (SE:8260), which rose 10.00% or 1.45 points to trade at 15.95 at the close. Meanwhile, Tabuk Agriculture Development Co (SE:6040) added 9.58% or 1.15 points to end at 13.15 and Saudi Industrial Development Co. (SE:2130) was up 9.18% or 0.90 points to 10.70 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Arabian Pipes Company (SE:2200), which fell 5.12% or 0.75 points to trade at 13.90 at the close. Dar Alarkan Real Estate Development (SE:4300) declined 3.94% or 0.25 points to end at 6.10 and National Gas & Industrialization Co (SE:2080) was down 3.64% or 1.00 points to 26.50.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 90 to 58 and 21 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 1.76% or 0.84 to $46.80 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 1.67% or 0.82 to hit $48.22 a barrel, while the August Gold contract rose 0.57% or 7.55 to trade at $1329.95 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.94% to 4.1299, while USD/SAR fell 0.00% to 3.7503.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.87% at 96.46.
