Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Transport, Telecoms & IT and Retail sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.15% to hit a new 3-months high.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Knowledge Economic City (SE:4310), which rose 9.92% or 2.60 points to trade at 28.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi Indian Company Insurance (SE:8110) added 9.72% or 2.09 points to end at 23.60 and Arabia Insurance Cooperative Co (SE:8160) was up 8.90% or 1.25 points to 15.30 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Ash-Sharqiyah Development Company (SE:6060), which fell 7.37% or 6.76 points to trade at 85.00 at the close. ALAHLI TAKAFUL COMPANY (SE:8130) declined 4.91% or 3.47 points to end at 67.25 and Aldrees Petroleum & Transport Svcs (SE:4200) was down 4.69% or 3.15 points to 64.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 99 to 64.
Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.77% or 0.44 to $57.59 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.22% or 0.14 to hit $65.42 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 0.98% or 11.50 to trade at $1186.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.31% to 4.0654, while USD/SAR fell 0.01% to 3.7502.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.25% at 97.31.
