Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Energy & Utilities, Hotels & Tourism and Media & Publishing sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.11%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Bupa Arabia for Coop. Insurance (SE:8210), which rose 4.86% or 11.48 points to trade at 247.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Emaar The Economic City (SE:4220) added 3.83% or 0.60 points to end at 16.25 and National Metal Manufacturing Co. (SE:2220) was up 1.45% or 0.59 points to 41.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Arabian Cooperative Insurance (SE:8100), which fell 6.54% or 1.91 points to trade at 27.30 at the close. SABB Takaful (SE:8080) declined 5.46% or 2.63 points to end at 45.50 and Saudi Indian Company Insurance (SE:8110) was down 3.77% or 0.88 points to 22.45.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 110 to 55.
Shares in Bupa Arabia for Coop. Insurance (SE:8210) rose to all time highs; up 4.86% or 11.48 to 247.50.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 1.07% or 0.64 to $59.00 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.79% or 0.51 to hit $63.30 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 0.55% or 6.50 to trade at $1178.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.04% to 4.2296, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7503.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.04% at 95.31.
