Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Media & Publishing, Multi Investment and Telecoms & IT sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.04%.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Amana Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8310), which rose 6.30% or 0.75 points to trade at 12.65 at the close. Meanwhile, Bupa Arabia for Coop. Insurance (SE:8210) added 5.63% or 7.50 points to end at 140.75 and Bawan (SE:1302) was up 3.64% or 0.80 points to 22.80 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Saudi Printing & Packaging Company (SE:4270), which fell 3.50% or 0.80 points to trade at 22.05 at the close. AXA Cooperative Insurance Company (SE:8250) declined 3.16% or 0.55 points to end at 16.85 and Ash-Sharqiyah Development Company (SE:6060) was down 2.43% or 1.10 points to 44.20.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 92 to 53 and 23 ended unchanged.
Shares in Bupa Arabia for Coop. Insurance (SE:8210) rose to all time highs; gaining 5.63% or 7.50 to 140.75.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.10% or 0.05 to $48.26 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.37% or 0.18 to hit $49.10 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 0.60% or 7.65 to trade at $1269.25 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.32% to 4.2311, while USD/SAR fell 0.06% to 3.7498.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.19% at 94.73.
